Live updates from the London Stadium as West Ham United host Tottenham in the Premier League.
That is all from today’s match, thanks for following our liveblog!
The West Ham boss continued:”Credit to the players and credit to the supporters, we stuck together and carried on.
“We scored a really good goal and deservedly got back into the game and back level. The first half was a strong performance. In the second half we weren’t really able to sustain that level.”
Graham Potter said: “In the first half we were good. We started the game well, I thought we were on the front foot.
“We tried to disrupt Tottenham and we did that well. They scored against the run of play, it was a mistake.”
Dominic Solanke was another absentee. Postecoglou said: “Dom is improving.
“We obviously left him out today but the medical team are pretty confident he should be right for Thursday.”
James Maddison was missing from the Tottenham squad today with a knee injury. His manager revealed: “It doesn’t look great, but we’re just waiting for further information. We’ll just wait and see.
“Hopefully we’ll probably get some clarity tomorrow. It’s fair to say it does not look promising but I’ll just wait and see.”
The Spurs manager continued: “We were disappointed with the goal we conceded but aside from that I thought we nullified their threat as well as we could and they had some decent firepower up front and I still thought we were dangerous going the other way.
“I’m glad the boys get some reward. It’s obviously not a win but get some reward for their efforts because I thought on a difficult day they handled themselves really well.”
Postecoglou said: “Proud of the player’s efforts. It’s not easy making so many changes and it’s going to affect fluency and even the rhythm of the team.
“I thought the efforts that they put in today were outstanding. They were really disciplined and organised.”
And that’s that.
