Arsenal eyeing Ramsdale replacement – latest transfer news and rumours

Arsenal are said to be eyeing a move for USA goalkeeper Patrick Schulte due to the possibility of Aaron Ramsdale leaving this summer.

Ramsdale has become second choice this season following the signing of David Raya from Brentford, and the Telegraph say the Columbus Crew shot stopper is on the Gunners’ list of possible replacements.

The 23-year-old made his USA national team debut this year and made 31 appearances in the MLS last season.

Meanwhile, Arsenal defender Ben White has committed his future to the club by signing a new four-year contract.

Elsewhere, PSG are said to be targeting a move for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford when Kylian Mbappe leaves for Real Madrid this summer.

The Mirror say the French giants are planning a huge summer move for the 26-year-old, who has scored seven times this season.

The Daily Mail say Chelsea could look to offload the likes of Romelu Lukaku, Kepa Arrizabalaga, Armando Broja, Trevoh Chalobah, Marc Cucurella and Raheem Sterling to Saudi Arabia this summer after Todd Boehly met with Saudi Pro League director of football Michael Emenalo.

And Brighton & Hove Albion are increasingly fearful that their head coach Roberto De Zerbi will leave this summer, according to The Times.
