The favourites to be the next £100m signing in the Premier League according to the odds

£100m transfer deals are now a regular occurence in football, especially when it comes to Premier League clubs.

Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo, Jack Grealish and Declan Rice have all moved to Premier League sides for more than nine-digit sums in recent windows and it will surely only be a matter of time before another player joins that list.

There are several top talents who could become the next to do so. Here are the favourites for the next player to move for more than £100m to a Premier League club, according to Gambling.com.

The Brighton striker has established himself as one of the world’s most exciting young talents over the past couple of seasons. At just 19, the Irishman has already made 38 Premier League appearances for the Seagulls, scoring 12 times, six of which have come this season.

He still has plenty of development left ahead of him, but Ferguson’s raw potential and attributes are enormously exciting so it is no surprise given his age that he is the favourite to be the next player to move for £100m+.

Brighton have become known as tough negotiators when it comes to selling players, holding out for big sums for many of the players that have left the club in recent windows, such as Moises Caicedo and Marc Cucurella.

Chelsea have been heavily linked with a move for the Irish international but with a contract until 2029, it would take an enormous sum to prize him away from the south coast.

The Brentford forward is set to return to Premier League football this month following an eight-month ban after admitting to breaching FA betting rules. The 27-year-old will be hoping to recapture the form that saw him become one of the top strikers in Europe last season, scoring 20 goals in 33 Premier League games.

Despite having not played this season, the striker is still being touted with a big money move away from the Bees this month having recently told Sky Sports he would like to play for a “top club competing for trophies” in the future.

Brentford are said to be demanding at least £100m for the striker with Arsenal and Chelsea among those who have been heavily linked with the former England international, and should he stay with Brentford in January but manage to replicate the form he showed last season, a big money move in the summer looks very likely.

Victor Osimhen 3/1

Another striker who is in high demand, Victor Osimhen’s performances for Napoli have piqued the interest of Premier League clubs with Arsenal and Chelsea said to be among those keen on a move for the Nigerian.

The 25-year-old scored 26 league goals last season and has netted seven in 12 league games so far this season. His combination of speed, strength and finishing has seen him become one of the most feared strikers in the world and it will certainly require a fee of more than £100m for anyone who wants to sign him.

The Crystal Palace man has been in electric form since returning from injury, scoring five goals in nine Premier League games. Chelsea pushed hard to sign the winger last summer before he opted to put pen to paper on a new deal but if his performances continue, the Premier League big boys will no doubt come calling again.

Palace would rightfully demand a high fee for the winger. £100m may be slightly over the top but if a bidding war commences then there is a possibility that the 22-year-old could join Declan Rice and Jack Grealish in being labelled with the £100m price tag.
